UK and Ireland

UKGC-grade controls, on by default.

Great Britain is the most demanding remote market in the world and Ireland is standing up a regulator of its own. GameBridge treats their expectations as the baseline: responsible-gaming limits and self-exclusion per brand, KYC before play, a ledger that never pays twice and an audit trail on every admin action. Headquartered in Douglas, with a team in London.

Readiness

What is in the box for the UK and Ireland.

Regulatory snapshot

  • Great Britain: remote operators need a licence from the Gambling Commission (UKGC) and follow its conditions on verification, safer gambling, marketing and reporting. Per-brand limits, KYC gating and the Activity Log fit that posture.
  • Affordability: the platform has no financial-risk assessment engine. Deposit and loss limits, reality checks and at-risk analytics model the thresholds your policy sets; formal checks are scoped separately.
  • Ireland: the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) is phasing in licensing under the 2024 Act. Irish brands are EUR real-money brands with the same controls.
  • Isle of Man and Gibraltar are common bases and licensing routes for the international side of a UK-facing group. GameBridge is an Isle of Man company.

Launch path

How a launch runs here.

  1. Step 1
    Confirm licence and structure

Great Britain requires a UKGC remote licence in your own name; Ireland follows the GRAI timetable. Isle of Man or Gibraltar often anchor the international side. We recommend; regulators decide timing.

  2. Step 2
    Choose the engagement model

Most UK-facing operators run Turnkey on their own licence with GameBridge as technology. White label is scoped case by case with the structure it implies. Managed services add CRM, risk and payments ops.

  3. Step 3
    Configure controls

RG defaults per brand, KYC before play, GBP wallet, geo lists, consent matrix, content exclusions and PSPs. The certification-ready dossier for GLI-11/19, BMM and iTech Labs supports standards work.

  4. Step 4
    Test, evidence, launch

Test accounts stay out of reporting. Activity Log, ledger and Advanced Report give compliance an evidence trail before and after go-live.

Evaluator questions

What UK and Irish operators ask.

Do you hold a UKGC licence we can operate under?
Operators serving Great Britain hold their own UKGC remote licence; GameBridge supplies the technology and, through Licensing and corporate services, helps structure the group. We never promise a licence or a timeline.
How is KYC before play enforced?
ID and selfie verification with liveness is integrated and can be required before deposit or play on a real-money brand. Verification status sits on the player profile; fraud scoring and MaxMind add device and location signals.
Can we set affordability thresholds?
Deposit, loss, wager, single-bet and session limits are per brand and per player, and at-risk analytics flag behavior changes. The platform does not run open-banking or credit-bureau checks itself; those are scoped with counsel and connected on request.
Which studios and live tables are available?
Alea aggregation brings 3,300+ games from 33 activated studios, including NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming, Nolimit City, Hacksaw and Evolution, with 189 more under contract. Iconic21 live dealer tables are imported per brand. Exclusions remove anything your licence does not permit.
