Europe

One core for Malta, the Nordics, DACH and the Med.

Europe is a set of national licences with very different rulebooks, from Germany's stake and deposit limits to Malta's role as a multi-market base. GameBridge keeps each licence on its own brand with its own limits, content exclusions, language and payment rails, on one codebase and one ledger. Nicosia is our regional base.

Readiness

What is in the box for Europe.

Regulatory snapshot

  • Malta (MGA) remains the common base for multi-market groups; per-brand RG defaults, ledger reports and the Activity Log support its reporting and audit expectations.
  • Nordics: Sweden (Spelinspektionen) and Denmark (Spillemyndigheden) run national licences with national self-exclusion registers and bonus restrictions; register connections are scoped per brand.
  • Germany (GGL) is the strictest, with stake and deposit limits and central player-limit systems; Italy (ADM), Spain (DGOJ) and Portugal (SRIJ) require local certification and reporting; the Netherlands (KSA) adds a national register and a strict duty of care.
  • Cyprus (National Betting Authority, NBA) covers online betting; Greece (HGC) licenses online gaming. Our Nicosia team supports both locally.

Platform readiness

  • Country geo allow and deny per brand, MaxMind GeoIP with GPS re-check, restricted-region page
  • Deposit, loss, wager, single-bet and session limits, reality checks, cooling off, self-exclusion; defaults per brand

Launch path

How a launch runs here.

  1. Step 1
    Pick licences and base

Choose the national licences you will hold and the base for the group; Malta (MGA) is the common one, Cyprus and Gibraltar are alternatives. Each licence becomes a brand. We recommend; regulators decide.

  2. Step 2
    Choose the engagement model

Turnkey for licence holders who want the technology and their own operations. White label when GameBridge carries entity, acquiring and operations under your brand. Managed services add CRM, risk and payments ops.

  3. Step 3
    Configure each brand

RG defaults, bonus limits, content exclusions, language, PSPs and reporting feeds per licence. National registers and local KYC are connected as scoped.

  4. Step 4
    Launch and replicate

Soft launch the first licence with test accounts excluded from reports, then clone network defaults into the next brand. A new market is configuration, typically days.

Evaluator questions

What European operators ask.

Can you support Germany's limits?
Deposit, loss, wager, single-bet and session limits are per brand and per player, and bonus and content rules are brand settings. Germany's central systems and technical requirements are scoped with counsel and connected on request; we do not claim a GGL-ready package out of the box.
Which European languages are available?
Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Portugal), French, German and Italian are among the 16 site languages, alongside English. Per-brand CMS pages, email and SMS templates are written in any language your team supports.
Do you integrate national self-exclusion registers?
Not today. The platform's own self-exclusion, cooling off and limits are integrated; national registers such as Spelpaus, ROFUS, CRUKS and OASIS are connected per licence on request.
Is the content certified for each market?
Aggregated studios carry their own certifications per jurisdiction and per-brand exclusions remove titles a licence does not permit. For Originals and GameBridge Studios games we prepare a certification-ready dossier for GLI-11/19, BMM and iTech Labs; no certificate is claimed until a lab issues it.
